A pre-order allows you to reserve an item before it arrives in our warehouse. Pre-order products are clearly marked on the product page and are not yet available for immediate dispatch.
By placing a pre-order, you are securing stock from an upcoming shipment.
All release dates and arrival estimates displayed on our website are provided by manufacturers, distributors, or suppliers.
These dates are estimates only and may change without notice. Delays can occur due to manufacturing schedules, shipping disruptions, customs processing, or supplier allocations.
The Cargo Bay cannot guarantee release dates provided by third parties.
We understand that customers want to stay informed about the status of their pre-orders.
The Cargo Bay will communicate significant updates on pre-ordered products as information becomes available from manufacturers, distributors, or suppliers. This may include updates to release dates, shipping schedules, production delays, or allocation changes.
Please note that we can only share information provided to us by our suppliers. In many cases, we receive updates at the same time as other retailers and customers.
We will endeavour to keep customers informed through email, our website, and our social media channels whenever relevant updates become available.
Customers are more than welcome to reach out about the status of their pre-order, as with any order from The Cargo Bay. However, please keep in mind that we only have information from manufacturers, distributors, or suppliers.

Payment for pre-orders is taken when the order is placed.
This allows us to secure stock with our suppliers and guarantee your reservation.
Your order will be dispatched once the pre-ordered item arrives at our warehouse and has been processed.
If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, your entire order may be held until all items are available for dispatch.
To receive in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders for pre-order and in-stock products.
Pre-order stock is limited, and reservations will be fulfilled in the order they were received.
While we work closely with our suppliers to fulfil all pre-orders, stock allocations can occasionally be reduced by manufacturers or distributors.
In the unlikely event that we cannot fulfil your pre-order, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer either:
A full refund; or
An alternative product where available.
When supplier allocations are lower than expected, available stock will be allocated in the order in which pre-orders were placed.
Customers may request cancellation of a pre-order at any time before dispatch.
Once a pre-order has been shipped, our standard Returns Policy applies.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
If multiple pre-order items are purchased in the same order, the order will generally ship once all items are available.
As release dates can vary, we recommend placing separate orders if you would like items dispatched as they arrive.
Product images are provided by manufacturers and are intended for illustrative purposes only.
Final products, packaging, paint applications, accessories, and artwork may vary from images shown.
To ensure fair access for all collectors, The Cargo Bay reserves the right to limit the quantity of pre-order products that a single customer may purchase.
Any quantity limits will be clearly stated on the product page where applicable.
